Inglett & Stubbs International awarded FEMA generator supply contract

August 21, 2020

ISI was awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to procure generators for the FEMA Logistics Management Directorate.  This is a one year contract with four option years to supply new generators to replace the existing fleet of equipment that has reached the end of its useful lifecycle.  This opportunity was issued as a competitive solicitation on November 4, 2019, there were multiple amendments and final discussions in June 2020, prior to ISI’s award on August 20, 2020.

ISI has partnered with Yancey Brothers CAT to provide the 401kW->1000kW generator sets which must be specifically configured to meet the FEMA requirements.  ISI and Yancey have worked together previously to provide emergency generator support to FEMA during natural disasters via ISI’s contract with the Defense Logistics Agency for FEMA generator support.  Under this latest contract, ISI will be supplying new Tier 4 final, FEMA configured versions of the CAT XQ570 and CAT XQ1140 model generator packages.  These generators will be distributed to various locations by ISI which include: California, Texas, Georgia, Maryland, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico to existing FEMA staging facilities.

ISI is excited to have this opportunity to support the FEMA mission in this new contract.
